KONSTANTIN SANDOU

is co-owner and director of Sandou Theatrical Circus School. Konstantin also studied the physical and circus arts from a very young age and obtained a teaching and coaching degree from the Institute of Physical Education and Sport in Moldova.

He is an accomplished aerial strap and silk artist, a dynamic cube balancing performer, and a base catcher for the internationally-acclaimed Sandou Troupe Russian Bar acrobatic act. Among the many circuses that have featured his exceptional talents are Circus Circus Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and Reno, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Moscow State Circus, Moldova State Circus, Tarzan Zerbini Circus, Jody Jordan Circus, Circus Gatti, and many Shrine, Police Association and Fire Department circuses.

Outside of the circus ring, Konstantin has performed in numerous shows on the stage, including “The Dove,” a Sandou Productions cirque-style show that toured Florida, “Cirque on Ice,” “Riptide” at Six Flags in San Antonio, Texas, the “V” show at the Aladdin’s Desert Passage in Las Vegas, and as co-creator and performer in “Cirque Explosion” on its successful tour of California.

For many years in the U.S. Konstantin has coached aerial skills and many other circus disciplines, including tumbling, Russian Bar, juggling, balancing, cube and net spinning and much more.
