SERGEI SANDOU

is president and co-owner of Sandou Theatrical Circus School. Born in Moldova, he studied the circus arts from a very young age. He was an elite member of the Institute of Physical Education and Sport and specialized in gymnastics and acrobatics. He has appeared in the prestigious Moldova State Circus, the Moscow State Circus, with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey and numerous Shrine, Police Association and Fire Department circuses in his more than 25 year performing and coaching career. For the last 15 years, Sergei has dedicated his time and expertise to the teaching and coaching of performers at all levels in the United States. The founding of the Sandou Theatrical Circus School was the realization of a long-held dream, and a way to pass on the centuries old arts of the circus to new and experienced performers of all generations.
